He might have gone by the nickname Kung Fu Kenny during his DAMN. tour, but Kendrick Lamar is definitely more of a boxer these days. In a months-old video which has only just hit the internet, the Pulitzer Prize winning rapper showed off his moves while training in the boxing ring at a gym in Northridge, California.
Looks like he’s become Overly Dedicated to the sport. According to TMZ Sports, “Kendrick went about four rounds of mitts on this outing — and he looked sharp all the way through.” Whatever you do, don’t kill his vibe. or you’ll be seeing All the Stars.
Boxing is about a lot more than brute force; training helps to improve your endurance, balance, coordination, and cardio stamina, and works out your upper body, lower body, and core. It’s also a great way to burn fat. So it’s unsurprising that boxing workouts are pretty popular — and Kendrick isn’t the only famous fan of drilling.
