Eminem’s Music to Be Murdered By Tackles Machine Gun Kelly Beef

Eminem surprised fans by dropping his 11th album, Music to Be Murdered By, late Thursday night. And he instantly sparked controversy with lyrics on the song “Unaccommodating” that found the rapper comparing himself to the terrorist who attacked the Manchester Arena after a 2017 Ariana Grande concert. But the same song’s lyrics also raised Eminem’s feud with Machine Gun Kelly.

The feud began way back in 2012, when Kelly hit send on a deeply creepy tweet that described Eminem’s then 16-year-old daughter Hailie as being “hot as fuck.” Understandably aggrieved, Eminem responded in song in 2018, sparking their running beef.

On “Unaccommodating,” he raps:

But when they ask me is the war finished with MGK? Of course it is,
I cleansed him of his mortal sins, I’m God and the Lord forgives
even the devil worshippers
I’m moving on but you know your scruples are gone when you’re born with Lucifer’s horns

It’s a relatively conciliatory message referencing Kelly’s diss track Rap Devil, whose title in turn referenced Eminem’s “Rap God.”

Eminem also mentions Kelly on the track “Yah, Yah:”

Me and this game, we got married already
Had the prenup ready, fucked on her, should’ve seen her belly
She barely was three months pregnant
Bitch had it, gave me a baby, we named it Machine Gun Kelly

But the lyrics on “Unaccommodating” aren’t the first sign that the feud has cooled: Late last year, Kelly announced that he’d no longer be performing “Rap Devil” live.
