Dr. Pimple Popper Squeezes ‘Toothpaste’ Out of a Giant Cyst

• In a new video, Dr. Pimple Popper squeezes out the contents of a cyst and the fresh white goo comes out in a straight line, like toothpaste.
• Dr. Pimple Popper also showcases a skin biopsy punch, a tool that seldom makes an appearance in the TLC host’s videos.
• The skin biopsy punch is a circular hollow blade used almost exclusively by dermatologists that can limit bleeding and infection.

Watch contents of a cyst file out of a patient’s back in a straight, unbroken line, like toothpaste, in a new Instagram video from Dr. Pimple Popper, a.k.a. dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD.

With one puncture via a skin biopsy punch and a massage from Lee’s magic hands, the cyst is opened. “Give it a little squeeze,” the TLC host says gently. The goo streams right out in a neat line, about two inches uninterrupted. It’s a far cry from the scalpel struggles and scissor combat that subscribers have witnessed in past Dr. Pimple Popper vids.

“This POP got me feeling like a Snake Charmer,” Lee wrote of the tube-like formation in the video’s description.

The skin biopsy punch is an instrument used almost exclusively by dermatologists. It is a circular hollow blade with a pen-like handle and can keep bleeding and infection risk to a minimum. It’s one of the lesser used tools in Lee’s arsenal; fans haven’t seen it much. The punch is good for collecting skin biopsies and for extracting clean and simple (by Dr. Pimple Popper standards) skin maladies, like this one.
